All over gloss print logo on City Walker Umbrella

We had fun creating this one! A vibrant red ‘V is for Victory’ logo for New York advertising agency Viant. This customer wanted to make an impact so we used a gloss print finish over all the panels and matched in the seams. This ensure no breaks in the logo and had the desired effect.

We were very happy with the gloss print logo on the umbrella, it just adds that little extra zing!

An all over print on an umbrella means each of the 8 panels of the umbrella are printed. They can be printed to the edge of the panel with an artwork that makes the top view of the umbrella appear to be one continuous piece of print, when actually each panel is printed individually prior to construction and then carefully sewn up by hand to ensure the print on each panel is aligned. Apex Twin umbrella famously used their album cover on the inside panels of the umbrella. It then became a prized possession and it was being sold for hundreds of dollars.  Warp Records commissioned us to make their promotional umbrella for Aphex Twin. The Aphex Twin umbrella is as dramatic as the musician’s work.
