This requires that the umbrella panels are printed first and then matched by hand as they are sewn to the frame ribs. They opted for a Wood Walker umbrella, with a single canopy which was Pantone matched with their logo printed in white on 1 panel.

The umbrella model chosen it subtle and offers timeless elegance, the matching of the umbrella panels to their brand guidelines and simple logo personalisation adds to their uniformed appearance that suggests reassurance.

The wood walker umbrella opens out to a circle shape and is 103cm in diameter. When closed, the umbrella reaches 87cm length. The fibreglass umbrella ribs ensure a robust and sturdy shape to the umbrella when open and the polished wooden pole and handle are reliable and elegant, finished with a gun metal handle ring and automatic push button.

Customised walking umbrella

These fully customised Wood Walker Pro umbrellas were created for interior decoration company, Colefax and Fowler. Colefax and Fowler have been established since the 1930s where the brand started with Sibyl Colefax. Her talent lay in designing interiors that were comfortable and stylish, but never pretentious. Since then, Colefax and Fowler have expanded and under Chairman, David Greens guidance, have begun to acquire brands from all over the world. These brands include the US textile firms Cowtan and Tout, British textile brands, Jane Churchill and Jack Lenor Larsen and the French fabric house Manuel Canovas.

We created 2 stunning customised walking umbrellas, with 2 very different and unique designs. The umbrellas included customised umbrella carry cases, woven labels on the umbrellas and carry cases, and both double and single canopy models with differing digital print designs. The designs of the umbrellas had to be simple, yet impactful and fit within the brand identity.

There are three models of umbrellas to choose from. The golf umbrella , which is a large model, favoured in the sports industry due to its large branding estate across all 8 panels. We offer this model with various differences including a vented option plus an automatic or manual opening function.

The walking umbrella has a crook handle and can be in wood or a slick black silicon and gun mental finishes. Chosen by financial services and property developers, this umbrella is a more petite umbrella that can be used to weave through urban spaces, but still large enough for applying visible branding.
